Freyja is a Vanir goddess associated with nature and the wild, similar to Shakti's connection to the primordial aspects of the universe.
Feminine energy has been recognized and venerated in different cultures and civilizations. Such is the case of Freya, the Norse goddess, who is considered similar to Shakti, the Hindu goddess of feminine energy, because both represent creative energy, fertility, sexuality, and the power to manifest desire and abundance.
Both goddesses, who represent feminine power, are associated with magic, beauty, and nature, and their energy seeks to empower women to harness their life force and manifest their dreams.
The similarities between the goddesses Freya and Shakti are many, but I will focus on only a few of them.
Both goddesses represent a primordial creative force that can be harnessed to bring new creations to life, from physical fertility to the manifestation of dreams and visions.
For example, Freya is the goddess of fertility and love, while Shakti embodies the generative power of the universe. Freyja is associated with magic and knowledge of the future, as are some representations of Shakti, which are linked to cosmic wisdom.
But fundamentally, both figures focus on female empowerment, as the energy of both goddesses represents the power, sensuality, and ability of women to achieve their goals and find their purpose.
